FinSight is designed with security and transparency at its core. To get started, users authenticate directly with QuickBooks using Intuit’s secure sign-in and two-factor authentication (2FA). During this process, you explicitly grant FinSight access to a
specific QuickBooks company. FinSight never requests your QuickBooks credentials and cannot access any data outside the permissions you approve.
Once authorized, FinSight connects to QuickBooks exclusively through the official QuickBooks API. Data is accessed in a read-only manner and used solely for generating reports, analytics, and insights within the FinSight platform. You remain in full control at
all times — access can be reviewed or revoked directly from your QuickBooks account.
After the connection is established, FinSight securely retrieves financial data and organizes it into advanced reports and analytical views. By applying multiple data cuts and custom aggregations, FinSight delivers insights and comparisons that are not
